Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior, a premier institute of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defence-related research as Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-interview to be held at DRDE.

Stipend:
- Rs. 37,000/- per month.
General Guidelines:
- Cutoff Date: Age and educational qualification will be calculated/determined as on the date of the interview.
- Tenure: Maximum five years. Candidates will work initially for the first two years as JRF and will subsequently be upgraded as SRF for the remaining three years subject to satisfactory performance as per DRDO instructions for the grant of research fellowship.
Reporting Details:
- Reporting Time: 0930 hrs on the date of the interview, at Main Gate Reception, DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior-474002. Latecomers will not be allowed.
- Interview Date: 15.07.2024.
Application Process:
- Application form can be downloaded from the DRDO website www.drdo.gov.in.
- Duly filled application form should be forwarded to director.drde@gov.in and anupam.deal@gov.in.
- The form needs to be submitted in both Word and PDF formats as per the given format.
- While appearing for the interview, candidates must submit the hard copy of the duly filled application form with a recent passport photograph affixed on the top right corner of the first page and one set of self-attested copies of all degrees/academic qualification certificates/mark sheets/experience certificates, etc.
- Candidates must produce original certificates/testimonials with respect to qualifications, experience, age, and caste certificate for verification at the time of the interview.
- Candidates currently employed in Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must produce NOC from their employer at the time of the interview.
Important Information:
- DRDE is located 1 km from Gwalior Railway Station on Jhansi Road, near Hotel Landmark Road, and FCI Godown.
- Electronic items like smartphones, mobile phones, pen drives, laptops, CD-ROMs, and any other type of electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the DRDE Gwalior Campus.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected during screening.
- Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining.
- The offer of fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining if selected.
