Description:
NCL is seeking a Project Associate-I to join the Central Analytical Facility (CAF). The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sophisticated analytical instruments, preparing samples, analyzing data, and conducting general lab work related to sample analysis and characterization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of advanced analytical instruments.
- Prepare samples for analysis.
- Analyze data and interpret results.
- Conduct general laboratory tasks related to sample analysis and characterization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience in operating and maintaining sophisticated analytical instruments and facilities.
Additional Information:
- Duration: Initially for twelve months, with the possibility of extension or curtailment depending on project duration and performance.
- Compensation:
- 31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through national-level exams (NET, GATE, etc.).
- 25,000/- + HRA for others.
